This course offers a course in first aid and how to deal with emergencies, as well as the theoretical principles of first aid, for anyone with a strong desire to help by understanding the priorities of first aid work.

Course Introduction:

First aid is the initial and immediate care provided for injuries or sudden illness, aimed at preserving life and minimizing damage and complications resulting from the injury until specialized medical care is available. The importance of knowledge in first aid for non-specialists has increased due to the growing risk factors stemming from population density and technological advancements that have both positive and negative effects on public health. Many individuals find themselves in a dilemma when someone suffers an accident, injury, or sudden illness. Hence, the need for first aid is everywhere. On the other hand, a family member may experience a medical crisis or injury, and we may be unable to assist them while searching for someone to provide help, but it could be too late. Therefore, it is essential to learn about some of the most important first aid procedures and techniques that can effectively contribute to saving lives in a timely manner.
